Building Hope in Pueblo
Through Whole Child Education

What is Whole Child Education?
Educating the whole child involves many layers. It not only addresses the traditional academic subjects such as reading, writing, math, the sciences and the arts, but it also speaks to healthy bodies, healthy minds, and healthy hearts. It supports 21st Century learning objectives and works to build stronger businesses by graduating students who are prepared for the world of work and/or college. Whole child education is about promoting healthy families and developing a support network within the community that can be sustained.

This map helps define the initiative's overall goals and is used to guide the processes as the effort evolves. The task is to help create real and long lasting growth for Pueblo through whole child education with family and community support.
